Bakabak

This is the sound of the dog’s voice, linked to hot breath. Some in India use the term to suggest a kind of human speech without meaning, like that seen in some forms of neurological illness. This, as Franz Kafka may have realized, is but a surface understanding of the dog’s voice. Bakabak is implicated in all surface understandings involved in discussions of speech and language.

There is more to human expression than meaning or significance in one’s words.
